Jesus said; 'Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not.

Bringing them hope
Making a difference
Giving them love

Who we are

‘It’s My Very Own’ is a faith based non-profit organization committed to working with communities to provide for the immediate needs of children being removed from their homes by local child protective services. It is our mission is to reach out to displaced children and the families who take them in. Our goal is to have each child in our area receive a ‘bag of love’, providing them with needed items to help make the transition easier for them, give them some comfort and let them know there are people who care.

We are run by members of The Drayton Valley SDA church and members of our community who give our their time and resources to donate the necessary items that go into the bags.

Bags are delivered to Child Protective services who deliver them to the children as needed.
